Better to have less of something that doesn’t matter and more of something that does matter.
Matthew 6:24
““No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
Cut back. Turn off. Throw away.
Cut back on our schedules. Say no to things.
Turn off the television. Our computers. Our phones.
Throw away. When was the last time we purged our closets? Said we didn’t need that new golf club?
Fight for what matters.
Don’t just take up space in this world. And do something significant.
Be on the watch. Be on guard.
Luke 12:15
“Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.””
Watch out for that shiny thing because before you know it you’re off the road. It will weigh you down. Get rid of it.
Jesus has what’s best for us.
It’s the little things that can rob you of being a difference maker in this world.
Luke 16:10
““If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.”
