- Dry wall continues, second level. Taping will start tomorrow.
- Dexter pouring concrete curbs and preparing parking lot for paving.
- Heating & ventilation systems on roof lifted and fitted into final position.
- More windows installed and sealed, second level.
Wednesday, July 15
- Coastal / BD Stevens meeting on key codes and door assisgnments.
- Back stairs (emergency exit) installed from second level.
- Curbing continues at entrance to parking lot. Heavy equipment on site, grading and compacting for paving.
- BDS and SRF trailers relocated to allow for paving.
- Dave Ead and tech team install pipe grid for stage lighting.

- Dexter building a gravel base for paving.
- Scott, Todd and Dave met to go over some final wiring runs in the sanctuary.

- Entrance curbs are now built.

- Coastal Doors and Frame are installing our windows on the first level.
- Dexter is surveying the parking lot to prepare for curbing and paving.

- Washroom fixtures arrived and are stored in the main construction trailer.
Tuesday, July 7
- Meeting with BD Stevens Group and Coastal Doors and Frame to assign locksets codes to rooms in the church.
- Dexter is grading the parking lot.
- Windows (glazing) are being installed in the sanctuary.
Wednesday, July 8
- Drywall delivered. Dry walling starting today on the second level.
- The building wiring has passed inspection.
- Dexter starts curbing today.
- Meeting with the senior ministry team to discuss key distribution and assignment.
Thursday, July 9
- Electrical meeting on site with Todd (Cochrane electric)Dave, and Brad reviewing last minute changes.
- Drywall installed on the second level.
- A drain and water supply installed by the stage for the baptistry (portable).
- Dexter working on the parking lot curbing.
Friday, July 10
- Curbing for the centre walkway and church frontage completed.
- The pad is built and ready for the main transformer.
- 50% of the dry walling and insulation (sound barrier) completed on the second level.
- A stainless steel exhaust hood was purchased for the kitchen stove. This unit has a special filter so the fumes can be emitted into the exhaust air system above the ceiling.

Sunday, June 14
- Decorating committee met to finalize the kitchen design with specific attention given to the location for kitchen cupboards, appliances and lighting.
Monday, June 15
- Electricians installing the second light strip in the ceiling.
- The design of the air ventilation piping was changed to accommodate the requirements in Kings Pier and Dockyard.
- Doug Chambers reviewed the problem of hanging kitchen cabinets on steel studs. Doug has installed plywood in the walls to fasten the cabinets.
Tuesday, June 16
- Meeting with Mark Vanzeumeren and Gary Ruitenberg to approve the changes to the kitchen including the ceiling height to 9’6”, sink relocation, and sink in the hospitality room.
- Window framing is being installed on the second level.
- Electricians installed the last power strip in the sanctuary ceiling.
Wednesday, June 17
- Excavator on site for trenching for electrical conduits in the parking lot.
- Roofing started on the corridor roof.
- Constructing set beds for corridor 3 window sills.
Thursday, June 18
- Electrical meeting on site with Scott ,Todd and Dave Ead to review the electrical requirements in Kings Pier and Dockyard.
- Roofers completed installing the corridor 3 roof and will finish the metal cap next Monday.
- Window sills poured today at the South end of corridor 3.
Friday, June 19
- Meeting with Mark Vanzeumeren to plan the responsibility for flooring and interior wall colors. This plan was later approved by BD Stevens as follows:
- BD Stevens Group will assemble/gather “final” recommendations for flooring (primarily sheet flooring in Hospitality and accent carpet in corridors 1 and 2 and black vs white accent tiles.)
- BDS will call a meeting to present recommendations and achieve sign-off for ordering flooring. BDS will make suggestions for paint colors to match the flooring. Flooring samples will be given to Stoneridge for matching purposes with paint colors. Stoneridge is free to prepare a paint schedule (marked up floor plans with colors noted) using the pallet suggested or whatever we wish.
- Stoneridge will prepare approved color recommendations and submit the painting schedule to BDS for implementation.
- Meeting with the BDS Safety Officer to make arrangements for the congregational meeting on Monday evening.
- The corridor window sills are tilted up into position.

Monday, June 8
- The steel truss and roof are being installed on corridor 3.
- Fireproofing is now completed and the extra material and equipment has been removed.
Tuesday, June 9
- Steel workers are welding the trusses in place and will finish today.
- Lindsay company will return to install the roof tomorrow.
- Electricians are installing the first 30′ power strip over the stage.
- Aluminum framing is being installed on the window openings.
- The masons have finished blocking in the two washrooms on the main floor.
Wednesday, June 10
- The technical team met with Scott Cochrane to go over the electrical requirements for IT and telephone circuits. Dave Ead approved the location of the first power strip in the ceiling. He will complete a drawing for stage Tect power. Dave will provide a drawing showing the power strips complete with lights to calculate weight on the roof . Brad Berry and Kyle Andrus are identifying and confirming all IT, telephone and video requirements by Friday.
- The drywallers will start on the kitchen tomorrow and the electricians will prewire for the electrical outlets in the kitchen.
Thursday, June 11
- Steel workers are welding the steel deck over corridor 3.
- Masons are removing their material and cleaning up the lower level.
Friday, June 12
- The steel decking is completed.
- The stairwell entrances to the second level are now secured each evening.
- The studs for the kitchen walls and pantry are in place.
- Aluminum framing for the windows on the second level is finished.
- Most of the construction debris on site has been cleaned up and taken away.

Monday, June 1
- Masons are constructing the block wall between King’s Pier and Dockyard.
- Fire proofing continues in the south end of the building, first floor.
- Wood frames are removed from the tilt up panels in preparation for Thursday’s lift.
Tuesday, June 2
- BD Stevens meeting on site with heating/ventilation, plumbing, structural and electrical. All trades are on schedule.
- Fireproofing is near completion and cleanup will begin on Friday.
- Scott Cochrane was asked to install all wiring for IT circuits Phones, and Video distribution. The cost for this will be in addition to the contracted electrical cost for building construction.
Wednesday, June 3
- The crane equipment has arrived and corridor 3 panel installation will begin tomorrow at 7:30 AM.
Thursday, June 4
- All walls in corridor 3 are now standing. Preparation to install the steel will begin tomorrow.
Friday, June 5
- Steel beams are installed and the roof trusses are arriving on Monday.
- The flooring contract has been awarded to Royale Floors and Surfaces.

- Heating and Ventilation units are being installed on the roof.
- The set beds are completed and will be poured tomorrow.
- Masons and electrician are still working on site.
- Stanley security alarm system representative did a site survey to install the new alarm system. A separate telephone line is required for alarm monitoring purposes.
Tuesday, May 26
- Panels were poured today and the last two set beds are constructed and will be poured on Thursday.
- The interior of the lower level is enclosed in plastic, preparing for fire proofing of the ceilings.
Wednesday, May 27
- Final panels are ready for concrete tomorrow.
- Fireproofing started today.
- Dave Ead met with the electrical supervisor and resolved light control and tech power circuits.
Thursday, May 28
- Support staging in rooms 128 (Kings Pier) and 131 (Dockyard) has been removed.
- Masons, electrical and mechanical trades are still working.
- Pastor Donald delivered three 30 ft electrical power strips and dimmer light equipment to the site.
- All panels are now poured.
Friday, May 29
- Ceiling brackets were delivered to the site by Carl Jobin to facilitate the installation of power strips.
- The wood frames were removed from the panels preparing them for tilt up by the end of next week if the crane is available earlier then ordered.
- The block walls are completed on the second floor and construction of block walls between King’s Pier and Dockyard will begin next week.
